He would say: “Whenever possible, keep repeating ‘Ram, Ram.’” Do it when you wake up, when you lie down, while walking, bathing, eating - in every moment. Even if you are lazy, even if your mind resists, keep chanting. The practice itself will carry you forward.

It is not about how long or how perfectly you chant. Consistency is the essence. A few repetitions every day are enough to begin. Over time, as you repeat the name with the tongue, the bhav (feeling, intention) of Ram awakens in the heart. When that happens, chanting is no longer mechanical; it becomes love, remembrance, and union.

In that state, Ram is not outside you. You are Ram, and Ram is yours. This is the true relationship between soul and God.

The power of the Divine Name is such that:

It burns away karma.

It dissolves crisis.

It fills the emptiest spaces of the heart with strength and peace.

Neem Karoli Baba showed that the path to God need not be complicated. No rituals, no elaborate techniques - just the simple, constant remembrance of the Name.

So take the name of Ram. Quietly, lovingly, as much as you can. The name itself will carry you across.
